11. In the Spotlight: 2023 Elgin/St Thomas Under 40 Business Leadership Award

In September 2022, my husband and I relocated to St. Thomas, Ontario, full of hope for the future. Little did we know that in just over a year, I would be receiving the prestigious 2023 Elgin/St. Thomas Under 40 Business Leadership Award. This recognition by the Small Business Enterprise Centre (SBEC) has left us humbled and inspired.

During our time here, we co-founded the Young Entrepreneurs Initiative (YEI) with my husband, Chichi Kejeh and the remarkable Elle Crevits. We desired a space to learn and connect with likeminded young entrepreneurs, and ultimately an environment for us to collectively thrive and flourish. It's been a journey of hard work, dedication, and collaboration, and this award reflects our shared commitment.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to the welcoming community of St Thomas. Your support, and belief in our mission have been truly heartwarming. As we look to the future, we are excited and committed to serving this community even more passionately.

There are more dreams to be realized, goals to be achieved, and projects to undertake. I look forward to sharing these milestones with you. Thank you for being part of this incredible journey, and here's to many more shared accomplishments!
