The DIY Strategic Plan program is a comprehensive and affordable strategic planning program for non-profits . It runs for up to 12 months and is designed to help non-profits develop their strategic plans in-house, train their teams, and save $.

This program is ideal for the non-profit and public sectors e.g. charities, associations, educational institutions, and government agencies.
It can also be leveraged by businesses with a social mission.
While most organizations will utilize the program for their overarching strategic plan, it is versatile enough to support team-level strategic plans, particularly within large organizations that already have an overarching strategic plan in place. -
Our program is evergreen, allowing you to enroll whenever you are ready.
With 12 months of support provided, you can get started way in advance of your strategic plan due date. -
The program enrolls 2 participants per organization.
We recommend assigning them to:
1.Senior Executive: such as the Executive Director or a high-level decision-maker. Their strategic insight, leadership, and relationships will be invaluable in shaping the organization's long-term direction.2. Support Personnel: ideally someone responsible for project management, data research and analysis, and communications within your organization. This individual will play a crucial role in keeping the planning process on track, collecting and analyzing data, and ensuring effective communication throughout the process.
If you are still unsure about who to represent your organization, still proceed with the program purchase. We would be happy to discuss your specific situation before program commencement. -
It depends! The program is available for a 12-month period. In most cases, nonprofits can design their strategic plans within 4 months.
Some may even complete it in as little as 6-8 weeks, depending on their readiness prior to starting the program. -
If you are aiming to complete your plan over a 4-month period, it is advisable for the Senior Executive to allocate up to 4 hours per week for the program.
Please keep in mind that this estimate can vary depending on your organization’s complexity and the level of support you receive from your support personnel e.g. project management, data research and analysis, and communication efforts.
Additionally, be aware that the workload might fluctuate from week to week, depending on the phase of the planning process. The first phase of the program will offer guidance on when to anticipate peak workload. -
